I sometimes wish I could see into the future. If this was possible I would be able to see what the outcome is for many of the trials and situations I have to endure. But while I may not be able to see tomorrow, I am glad that God is already there waiting for me. He knows what I am going to face and He has prepared me with the tools I need to combat whatever comes against me.

But if I could just see the results before hand I would be more anxious to get up and be ready to fight.

Ephesians 1:18
"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints."

We may not be able to see the riches that we have been able to obtain but we can pray that God would open the eyes of our heart so we can see what He is up to. I may not be able to see but I can trust that God is not going to put me through anything that will work against His word. And in Romans 8:28 He says He is working all things out for my good.

So whatever I face today is going to help me with a situation tomorrow. And God is going to make sure that it works for my good.

Prayer:
"Lord, help me not to grow weary with the trials and situations of this world. I know you love me and you want the best for me. All I have to do today is remain faithful to the calling you have placed on my life and you will see me through it all."
