There is a game that tends to never get old for kids. They start doing it at a very young age and they seem to continue this game on up through their adult lives. I always like playing this game with small children as well. It's the copy cat game.

I always try to get them to do what I do. I try to get them to say words by repeating me. Some kids find it humerous as they get older to take this game one step further. Logan will get on a kick where she trys to aggreviate me by copying EVERYTHING I say right after I say it.

This little game is exactly how we learn to walk and talk. As babies, we see others doing things that we want to do so we try to copy or imitate them. That is what Paul encourages us to do in 1st Corinthians 11:1.

"Be inmitators of me just as I also am of Christ". Paul had the courage to say, "imitate me". This made me wonder what people would be like if they were to imitate me today. What words would come out of their mouths. What actions would they take in certain situations?

Paul could say this because he was doing something that I will strive to do today and that is simply imitate Jesus Christ. Paul was living his life as Christ would have lived it. Christ would always talk in a postive manner and do good things for others without looking for a payback.

Prayer:
"Lord, help me today to imitate you. Help me be in a prayerful state of mind all day allowing you the opportunity to show me how you would react when certain things happen around me."
