Sunday's Coming....Are you ready?

When Friday comes, I tend to start getting excited about Sunday. I know that in just two days, I will get to enter the sanctuary for worship and praise with my church family. But many don't look at it that way. They are busy planning their Friday evenings and what they plan to accomplish on Saturday that their Sunday will never cross their mind.

I long for a worship service unlike any other. A service where lives are literally changed not just our attitudes. For this to happen, the children of God must repent of their sins and prepare their lives for Sunday.

2ND Chronicles 7:14
"...turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and heal their land."

Its not just admitting that I have sin in my life, but this is the true action of repentance. Turning away from it and getting it out of my life for good. My prayer today is for God to remove every sin out of my life so I am not the hindrance sitting in the service on Sunday.

Prayer:
"Lord, you know many people will attend service on Sunday that need a relationship with You. Please remove anything in my life that blocks my prayers for them and blocks your presence from being experienced in its truest fashion. You want to do a mighty work this weekend and I feel it is going to take place but only after your people stop what they are doing now and begin to repent and prepare themselves for the worship service. Save the lost! Amen!"
