1st Corinthians 1:9
"God is faithful..."

To start the work week, this is one scripture I have committed to memorize. It's only three words long but what a powerful message in those three words. No matter what I face today on this "Monday", God is faithful.

No matter how my body feels today (tired, weak, sick) - God is faithful!
No matter how down I may be - God is faithful!
When death has come into the family - God is faithful!
When our relationships are not what they should be - God is faithful!

How much stress and grief could I keep myself from experiencing if I would truly take these words and put them in my heart. Not in my mind because things that I try to put into my mind seem to slip away and tend to forget them. But when I put it in my heart its there to stay.

So when I start feeling down today about my bills and other stressful moments I am just going to recite this verse, "God is faithful".

Prayer:
"Lord, only You know what I am going to experience today and this week. I just want to thank you now for being faithful. You have provided for my every need even when I thought there was no hope, You became my hope."
