If I were to need back surgery, I would seek out the best surgeon I could find. When the car dies, I normally try to find the best (reasonable) mechanic who will be able to get me running again. So when I have circumstances and problems come up in my life, why do I choose to continue to settle for second best?

Ephesians 3:20, 21
"Now to Him (Jesus Christ) who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory..."

Why do I settle to try and work things out for myself?
Why do I settle to go to family and friends with my problems when HE is able to do "exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think". With God, who has all power, He is able to handle the situations I get myself into. He is able to heal the body, heal the mind, heal whatever I have going on right now.

The thought for me today is: Don't settle!
Just simply go to the very best there is: Your Heavenly Father!
