In praying for personal revival, I have to ask myself this question: "How bad do I want to see the God working in my life?"
In Luke 19, we read of Zaccheus who wanted to see Jesus so bad he ran up a sycamore tree just to get a look at The Man. This chief tax collector had a desire that caused him to do something out of the ordinary. His curiosity and excitement pushed him to the point of doing something that others might have made fun of him for doing. He actually climbed a tree.
So how far will I go to see Jesus?
Or will I just wait until its convenient for me?
Will I get to the place were I don't worry about what others say about me or what they might think about me in my quest to have personal revival in my life?
Prayer:
"Lord, if an unsaved government official can climb a tree, I pray I will be just as hungry and thirsty to see you work in my life. Help me not to worry about what others say or do. Remind me it was not them that was hanging on the cross for my sins. I pray for personal revival! Amen!"
