Some people feel like they have done too much bad for God to forgive them. Sometimes I even get frustrated when I do something or say something that I shouldn't have said. To tell you the truth, I get tired of having to go back and say, "God, again I am sorry". But the truth is, until I die, that prayer will always take place.
We can never be too bad or do too much evil that God will not forgive us. If He didn't forgive us, He would be trampling right over the blood of His own Son. His love is too great for that.
1st John 2:1
"My Little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous."
God's desire is not for us to sin. But the little word "IF" means that its probably going to happen. Now some people take this and live the life they want to live and justify that God is going to forgiving them no matter what.
My response to that: If you do not get tired and embarrassed about having to go to God for forgiveness... if it doesn't bother you to sin... if you are not truly convicted when sin happens in your life = You are not saved!
There is no way you can continue in a life that is contrary to God's word and not feel conviction before, during and after, if you are a born again Christian. The Holy Spirit will not allow that to happen.
As a Christian the desire to sin should make us sick knowing we have gone against a Heavenly Father who has given us our very life.
Prayer:
"Lord, I don't want to sin and it hurts to come to you to admit that I have done wrong against you. Help me not to take your grace for granted but to always remember that it's your desire for me to live holy and acceptable to you."
