Have you ever had people in your life who brought you discouragement instead of love? Paul wrote about a person who he says, "did him much harm". In 2ND Timothy he not only shows us that he went through the same situations that we face today but he also shares with us how he got through it.

Are you dealing with people in your life today that are causing you harm? Are they working against you instead of with you? Are you just about ready to scream feeling like no one cares about you or your success?

2ND Timothy 4:17
"But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me in order that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear..."

When no one seems to be standing with you remember that you have the most important person on your side. The same Lord who stood and gave strength to Paul during his days of adversity is the same Lord who has the same power today to stand with you.

Don't look at people as enemies who are fighting against you. Look at them as potential souls that God needs to save. Just pray that God will use you to reach them and to not drive them away. You maybe the only version of Christ they ever see.

Prayer:
"Lord, you send people into our lives that cause havoc instead of love. Help me realize today that those people may not be in my life for the purpose of making my life miserable but just maybe they are in my life so that I may be the one to show them Jesus. Help me to do that today!"
