I am glad that I serve a God who can bless a mess. Paul referred to this in the book of Philippians.

Philippians 1:12
"Now I want you to know, brethren, that my circumstances have turned out for the greater progress of the gospel."

We look at our circumstances and wander why we have to go through some of the things we go through. Whether we feel we deserved it or not, things just happen in our lives that have us question the reason of why it happened and why it happened to us. Paul says, "I know why the things happened to me". He says it happend to "further the gospel of Jesus Christ".

And you maybe thinking but what happened to me was bad or cruel. But while you were going through that trying time, others were watching you. If you can have peace in the middle of your storm, you can be a witness unlike any other.

Even if you are going through circumstances because of a bad decision you made. We all make mistakes but God is able to take those mistakes and turn it around so that good comes from it. Not that it was good that you made the mistake but God saw your desire to make it right so He orchestrated some good from what the enemy meant for bad.

So do you have circumstances that seem to be weighing you down? LOOK UP! Because God could be getting you ready for a big blessing that you never saw coming.

Prayer:
"Lord, I know your main desire for us is to worship You and point others to you. Help me today to realize that everything I go through is for Your purpose. Even though it may get tough at times, give me the grace to make it through."
