It is very important to do what God has commanded you to do. There is a story in Acts where all that took place was dependant on two men doing what they were told to do by the Holy Spirit.

Acts 10:1-33 tells a story of how Cornelius had a vision and was told to invite Simon Peter to his house to preach to his entire household. The only problem was these two guys were from different countries. It was not common and even unlawful for a man who was a Jew to associate with a foreigner or to even visit him. But both men followed their hearts and God blessed.

There will be times when God will direct you to do things that this world says is not right. Now know that God will NEVER have you do something that goes against Him or His word. But this world doesn't understand the ways of God. They can't comprehend why a man would move his family across the world to minister to a lost nation. They can't comprehend why one would rather serve God and have his needs provided for then to excel in the world of business to become wealthy by the world's standards.

When God says to do something, you better do it. Don't seek wisdom from this world because they will always go against the word of God.

Prayer:
"Lord, I know you have something special for me today. I pray that I will do everything you tell me to do without hesitation. Help me to be what You want me to be and not what the world will try to convince me to be."
