Romans 12:1 tells us to present your body as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God.

"I beseech you brethren by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."

As a believer we are to present to God a holy life. A life that would meet God's approval. With this thought in mind, this means I can't just go out an live any old way that I want to live. God demands more from me as his child. He will not accept anything less than lives that measure against His measuring stick rather than others in this world.

Family and friends will allow certain things and pass it off as nothing but God does not. He gave us His word and said, "this is how you should live". It would be different if we were just out in the middle of no where with no guidance. But God, has given us His word and told us to live.

Prayer:
"Lord, help me today to realize that I am unfit for your use unless I am living a holy life that you meets your standard of approval. I want nothing more than to be someone you can use for your glory."
