I love getting presents! And if you will be honest you do too. When Christmas rolls around Wendy always comes up with something that she will give me that is the "special" gift. It might be something that I have always wanted or maybe something she just wanted me to have but either way it is something that I cherish.

If we could give God a present today - what would you give him? In Romans 12, it is very clear as to what he wants from us.

"I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice..."

Did you see it? We are to wrap up our bodies that are alive and holy as presents and present them to Almighty God. Not a dead body but one that is active. Not an unholy body but one that is pure. We are to come before Him each day and give it to Him as a present knowing we are giving Him exactly what He wants. That my friend makes it a "special" gift.

And after all He has given us - isn't it the least we can do?

Prayer: "God, I give you a present today. It's not one that money can buy but one that you desire most from me. I give you me!"
