It's a new week and that means you have been give another opportunity to do more for God this week than you did last week. So let's get to it!

I find many people will refrain from sharing their faith with others simply because they are afraid. Afraid of what others will say and afraid of how they will be treated afterwards. But if the joy of the Lord is in you - you should want to share it with everyone. But I know that can be difficult until you have done it a few times.

Let me encourage you with Acts 18:9 - "Do not be afraid any longer, but go on speaking and do not be silent (10) for I am with you...(says the Lord)"

Christ was saying this to Paul as he was getting ready to address the people at the Corinthian church. But those words are great encouragement for you today. Go on and speak because God is with you.

Are you afraid of talking in person? Start out by sending someone and encouraging email or write them a letter. Maybe give them a phone call but nothing is more personal than eye-t0-eye contact and you sharing your faith.

It could be just inviting someone to church.
Inviting them to the church website to hear a message online.
You could invite them to your house for cake and coffee...

Whatever you have to do - make the commitment right now that this week you are going to do better than last week. Set a goal that you are going to make contact with at least five people (one for each day) and DO IT!

Prayer: "God, thank you for being with us every step of the way. Speak on our behalf so we won't mess up what you are trying to do in someones life. But help us understand there are people you are wanting us to reach so help us reach them this week."
