We talked on Monday about being fearful to talk with others about Christ. Let's pick up in the scripture where we left off.
Acts 18:9 -"Do not be afraid any longer but go on speaking and do not be silent; (10) for I am with you and no man will attack you in order to harm you , for I have many people in this city."
How important it is for us to get around God's people. We need to seek out relationships with those co-workers down the hall that are believers. We need to constantly be carrying on conversations with those who know how to pray. Find people of the faith that can help you, pray for/with you and hold you accountable.
God has "many people in this city" and He wants you to be paired up with them. The enemy might have individuals who come against you but when you get in a crowd they will think twice about taking on all of you. In other words, you are removing yourself from the minority group and putting yourself into a group of majority.
Find those people and be to them what you need them to be to you.
Prayer: "God, you have us working and playing in the places where you have placed us. While there are people to reach for you there are others we can hook up with that will encourage our faith. Help us to find them today!"
