When you went to bed last night you had no clue as to what you would face today. Some families are waking up to the reality that a loved one is no longer with them. Others are going about their morning just like any other day. But there is a "heads up" that we get from the book of James.
James 4:14 - "Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while then vanishes away."
While a new baby is being born at this hour, somewhere another life is ending.
We are told that our life is very short here on earth. The bible calls it a vapor. We can be here one minute and then gone the next. And it can come so quickly in form of an automobile accident or the last days of cancer. That is why it is so imperative that we live our life God's way every minute of the day. Not knowing that this could be our last few moments on earth.
Prayer: "God, I may not know what I will be faced with tomorrow let alone the rest of this day but I know you are in control. Help me to be reminded through out this day to do all I can for You before this day ends knowing it could be my last."
