The start of a new week - the start of a new day.

I open my morning by asking God to use me today according to His will. While I may have plans and objectives for the day, I ask God to feel free to rearrange my schedule to fit his plans for me. So what do I do now?

Romans 12:1
"...Present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship."

I simply worship Him. But this scripture describes to me the way I must worship. I must present my body as though I was giving a present to someone else. When you give that present, you have to let go it and you also don't have a say as to what they do with it. It is now their present. Well, my body is now God's when I present myself to Him. So He has all the say as to what I do today.

My body should be "alive" and not dead. I should be very much active but also holy. Everything in my life should be in line to what is acceptable to God. Then I have given God something to useful for Him to use to accomplish His for this day.

Prayer:
"Lord, I give you myself for your use. Please help me to live a life that is alive and holy and without sin. And at the end of the day, help me to rest peacefully knowing I have done everything today that You wanted me to do."
