Are you proud of what you did this weekend? Do you think God is satisfied with where you went and what you did? Are you comfortable with what you said to people and about people? Where your thoughts what they should have been?

Romans 14:12
"So then each one of us shall give account of himself to God."

If you knew that you were going to stand before God each evening to give an account for the day's activities, would it change the way you lived today? What would your response be if God were to ask you the following questions:

Did you pray enough?
Did you speak to everyone with a pleasant tone?
Did you point people to Christ?
Did you say things you shouldn't have said?
Did you talk about someone in a bad way?

The bible is accurate and even though you may not have to stand before God tonight before you go to sleep the truth is there is coming a day when you will have to give an account for those things you did, said and thought.

Keep in mind today that God is keeping a record. You might not be able to go back and change what you did or didn't do yesterday but you can start off the day and this week by doing everything within your power to live for Him.

"Lord, all I want to do today is please You. Help me to do that!"
